Other browsers that came after them are way better at giving users control over how and what they want to do with their browsers. I bet opera would be furious after reading this but this is the truth. They have copied everything of chrome but stipped out every user control that chrome offers like adding search engine and whatnot. Also, why does opera doesn't support themes from the chrome store when other browsers clearly support or have their themes store like Vivaldi and edge? I am using opera only because it works cross-platform well otherwise is a browser that has lost its past glory before 2009. Their team cant explain why extensions sync support is not there. Their site says you add and use any search engine but when I asked how to add a brave search or ecosia search, they blocked me at opera forums. Their team doesn't care but still wants us to use and care for them. But now the issue is that if you bookmark any site or link in opera browser mobile, it will bookmark to the top of the list, and when you check your bookmarks in totality, you will see all fucked up. Then their dev (without telling me or anybody through announcements that others make to their users) shifted back to the default bookmarking pattern as other browsers have. Their dev said (they thought so) that putting newer bookmarks on top of the list (let's say a folder of top sites you visit all the time) would be great, unlike other browsers which add newer bookmarks at the bottom or after the previous ones that are bookmarked. Because I contacted the opera team several times over many years and told them to figure out their bookmark and bookmarking system.
